Vydaná beta Ubuntu 20.10

Spoločnosť Canonical stojaca za linuxovou distribúciou Ubuntu na konci uplynulého týždňa sprístupnila beta verziu novej pripravovanej verzie Ubuntu 20.10.

Verzia 20.10 s kódovým označením Groovy Gorilla je postavená na aktuálne poslednom vydanom jadre 5.8 a novej verzii 3.38 desktopového prostredia Gnome.

Sprístupnená bola beta verzia pre osobné počítače ale tiež pre servery a cloud.

Spolu s Ubuntu boli vydané aj beta verzie Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu Budgie, UbuntuKylin, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu Studio a Xubuntu s inými desktopovými prostrediami vychádzajúce z Ubuntu.

Inštalačné obrazy beta verzie je možné sťahovať z releases.ubuntu.com.

Finálna verzia Ubuntu 20.10 je naplánovaná na 22. októbra.
