When you add a credit or debit card to your PayPal account, we verify all the card details with your issuing bank including the security code (CVV) to make sure the card is valid and can be used with PayPal. However, after the card has been added successfully we do not re-send this data with every transaction you make through PayPal. Your security code (CVV) is safely stored in your PayPal account and we do not forward this information when you use your card in our system.
To resolve this issue, I advise you to contact your bank and ask them to override the CVV protection for your PayPal transactions. You can notify your bank that PayPal does not send the security code (CVV) with every transaction for security reasons. You may be able to confirm your card after you have spoken to your card issuer.
