Hackeri ponúkajú získanie hesla účtov na webmailoch a Facebooku, za 100 dolárov

Hackeri prevádzkujú respektíve donedávna prevádzkovali viacero internetových služieb, ktoré komerčne ponúkajú v absolútnej väčšine krajín nelegálne hackovanie cudzích účtov na najpopulárnejších webmailoch a podľa dostupných informácií ide o reálne ponuky skutočne získavajúce prístup k účtom.

Na takéto služby upozornili v pondelkovom vydaní noviny Washington Post potom ako preukazovanie v americkom federálnom procese potvrdilo, že obvinená si úspešne zakúpila od jednej z takýchto služieb YourHackerz.com postupne heslá pre minimálne päť emailových účtov, po 100 dolárov za kus.

Noviny upozornili na štyri takéto služby, YourHackerz.com, PirateCrackers.com, HackMail.net a SlickHackers.com. V čase publikovania článku už bola dostupná na webe len jedna z nich, SlickHackers.com.

Služba ponúka za 100 dolárov získanie súčasného originálneho nastaveného hesla k ľubovoľnému účtu na Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Windows Live a Hotmail, AOL ale aj MySpace a Facebooku.

Aj podľa prezentovaných informácií služba zrejme reálne ponúka, čo sľubuje. Záujemca totiž platí až potom, ako mu len po zadaní cieľovej emailovej adresy hackovaného účtu prevádzkovatelia služby pošlú screenshot napríklad schránky prijatých správ na tomto účte a kópiu posledného emailu, ktorý prišiel na hackovanú adresu zo záujemcom zvolenej inej emailovej adresy.

Platiť je možné aj cez PayPal. Jednou z možností, kde majú prevádzkovatelia týchto služieb priestor na podvod je vyresetovanie a nastavenie nového hesla namiesto získania sľubovaného originálneho hesla. Vyresetovanie hesla môže byť u mnohých služieb výrazne jednoduchšie.

Podobne ako SlickHackers.com fungujú podľa novín aj ostatné služby, ktoré už ale v utorok neboli dostupné. Jedna zo služieb ponúkala podľa novín heslá aj za 20 libier, zrejme išlo o jednu z menovaných ale dnes už nefunkčných služieb.

V akom percente prípadov sú tieto služby úspešné, akým technickým spôsobom hackujú účty respektíve získavajú originálne heslá a ako sa je tak možné chrániť sa novinám zistiť nepodarilo.
