256 GB flashový pevný disk

Taiwanská spoločnosť PQI tento týždeň avizovala štyri nové zaujímavé produkty z oblasti úložných a pamäťových systémov založených na flash pamäti.

Najzaujímavejším z nových produktov je flashový 2.5" 256 GB disk SSD Turbo+ s rozhraním SATA.

SSD Turbo+ dosahuje maximálnu prenosovú rýchlosť 60 MB/s.

O cene disku spoločnosť zatiaľ neinformovala.

Druhým predstaveným produktom je CF Turbo+ pamäťová karta s rýchlosťou 226x. Maximálna kapacita novej karty je 16 GB, dosahovaná prenosová rýchlosť dát podľa PQI 38 MB / s.

Okrem toho PQI avizovala 32 GB flash pamäťovú kartu s rozhraním ExpressCard pre použitie v notebookoch a 1.8" pevný disk o kapacite 32 GB s rozhraním ZIF.

256 GB flash disk od PQI

PQI o nových produktoch informovala v tejto tlačovej správe, kedy by mali byť produkty dostupné, nie je známe.

Podľa PQI by údajne už v roku 2008 mali SSD flashové disky nahradiť 30% tradičných pevných diskov.
