Microsoft zmení štandardný font v Office, má päť kandidátov

Spoločnosť Microsoft plánuje zmeniť štandardný font používaný v jej kancelárskom balíku Microsoft Office a ďalších produktoch.

Spoločnosť to avizuje v tomto oznámení.

V Microsoft Office a dokumentoch vytváraných týmto kancelárskym balíkom je v súčasnosti štandardným fontom Calibri, ktorý je štandardným od Microsoft Office 2007. Calibri nahradil Times New Roman.

Podľa Microsoftu je čas nahradiť ho za nový font a spoločnosť nechala vytvoriť päť nových fontov, ktoré by mohli Calibri nahradiť. Fonty sa volajú Bierstadt, Grandview, Seaford, Skeena a Tenorite, ich porovnanie je možné nájsť v tejto ukážke.

Fonty sú v súčasnosti už k dispozícii v Microsoft 365. Spoločnosť ich chce vyhodnocovať a vyberať nástupcu Calibri v nasledujúcich niekoľkých mesiacoch.
